Essay topics:

You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to draw you attention towards the problems that I am facing because of my room-mate.
I have been staying in room number 23 with john for last three months and this has been a really tough time for me to focus on work. As you know, john has a very large friend circle and he relishes their company. Everyday he and his companions organize a party in our room, which creates a lot of nuisance.
Often, they consume my items in my absence and make excuses. last week, when I was on a holiday, they damaged my office laptop and I am worried what I will inform to my manager and circumspect how I would continue to provide deliveries to my clients during emergency.
Considering all this, I would be really grateful if my accommodation be changed from twin sharing to an individual area.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and I am looking forward for your support.

Yours sincerely,
Roy
