Bar graph
The bar graph illustrates the percentage kilometres travelled by five types of transportation (such as; bicycle, motorbike, air, bus, rail) in the great Briton. The measures are given in billions.
Focusing on the bar graph, it is overt that more than 40 millions passenger kilometres travelled by bus in 1990; being higher than those who travelled by air, which was approximately one billion in 1990. Similarly, those people decreased slightly to 40 billions who opted to travelled by air. Furthermore, there was the same number of passenger who travelled by bus and rail in 2000, which was roughly less than 50 millions in UK.
Moving further, less number of passenger kilometres were travelled by bicycle and motorbike, it was less than five billions in the both year 1990 and 2000. Apart from that, a slight increase was normally found in air travel by 2000. In 1990, a total number of 100 passenger kilometer were travelled by surved transport method, while, a more than 110 passengers kilometres who travelled by surved transportation in 2000 in UK.
Overall, it can be eventually understood that the highest number of passengers kilometres were travelled by bus and rail, if compared to other mode of transportation.
