The given graph decribes the CO2 amount emitted by each person in four different countries from 1967 to 2007.
In 1967, British and Swedish were people who created most CO2 emissions; About 11 tonnes in UK, the highest point in the chart and 9 tonnes in Sweden; Particularly sweden then increased to around 10 tonnes in 1997 while UK still held the old figure in the same year. However, both CO2 production of two countries continously fell down during remaining years of period of the chart; just about 8 tonnes in UK in 2007, this figure in sweden was 5 tonnes and the least in four countries at the same year.
In contrast,Quantity of CO2 produced by each Italian or portuguese was less than two above countries in 1967; 5 tonnes in Italian, Portugal was only around 1 tonnes, the lowest point of the chart. But these figures rose up significantly in both two countries in three next decades, and reached the maximums in 1997 with nearly 8 tonnes in Italia, 5 tonnes in Portugal and were stable at these levels until 2007.
In conclusion, UK and Sweden tended to reduce CO2, in the meanwhile, there was a tendency to increase over the period shown in the chart.
