summarize the points made in the lecture ,being sure to explain how they cast a doubt on the specific theories in the reading passage.
The professor in the lecture is not agree with the arguments which are mentioned in the passage that the dinosurs are endothermal. She provides the another explaination for the same arguments.
The first argument mentioned in the passage is about that polar dinosurs. The passage mentioned that the endothermal animal can maintain their body temperature in also cold region. So thats why the dinosurs were able to live in the cold polar region because they were able to tolerate cold. However the professor said that this is not well supporting argument. She said that they can be migrate whenever the winter starts or go in to hibernate state. So this argument not prove that they are endothemal.
The second argument is that, the endothermal animal has the underneath lags which help them for running. The professor said that, it is true that the dinosurs have the underneath legs. The main function of the legs was to support body weight because dinosurs were big in size .So that why they have the underneath legs to support not for running.
The third argument is that , endothermals have the haversian canals bone , which was also present in dinosurs. Althought it is true that some dinosurs have canal bone, they are not endothermal. Because firtsly they growed rapidly then their growth become slow then again rapid which is not the sign of the endothermal animal.
Finally, the professor refutes all arguments which are mentioned in the passage.
