The graph represent the amount of fast food consumed in the uk between 1970 and 1990.
The three lines describe different dish: hamburger in blue, fish & chips in red and pizza in green. In this period, the consumption of pizza decreased from 300g to 200g, on the contrary the others increased, with a maximum reached by fish & chips between 1980 and 1990 with a final consumption of 500g. it can be connected to the fact that a lot of tourist came to the uk to eat some traditional dishes and prefer them to food which is not typical of England. In the case of hamburger there was an increase between 1985 and 1990, but it was less than that of fish & chips.
In conclusion, in a period of 30 years there was a huge increase in the amount of fast food consumed. In 1970, British ate about 450g a week of fast food, on the other hand, in 1990 there was a consumption which was doubled to 1000g.
