The bar chart illustrates how Australian children between 5 and 14 years spend their free time. They are divided in boys and girls.
As we can see, the highest bar is that of 'watching TV or videos', with a percentage of 100% in both groups. This is the most common activity not only for the Australian people, but also for all the young people in the world. At the second place there is 'Electronic or computer games' with a higher percentage of boys (80%) against only 60% of girls. It happens maybe because the number of video games only for girls is lower than that for boys.
Moreover, boys prefer sports and in air activities such as 'Skateboarding or rollerblading' and 'Bike riding'. Girls tend to select 'Art and craft' maybe because they are more practice and prefer to do handmade things.
In conclusion, the favourite activities are different between the two genres, only one is in common, watching TV.
