The picture below illustrates the steps on how to recycle used bottles. The procedures begin with the collection of bottles, and then being imported back to supermarkets.
First, used bottles will be collected at a collection point, such as waste zones. Then, with the power from high-pressure water, all the bottle is cleaned and ready to go to the recycling section.
At the recycling plant, each type of bottle is divided into three main categories: the transparent one, the green and the brown one. Three different types come with three different factories to recycle specific bottles. In the chart, the process to recycle is unknown.
After leaving the factory, they will be transferred to a furnace, then get melted to become liquid glass. Together with new liquid glass comes from other sources, the shape of the bottle is defined depends on the shape of the mould. Lastly, a transport vehicle will bring the bottle back to the customers’ supermarkets for consuming purpose.
