Bar Chart : the chart below shows the expenditure of two countries on consumer goods in 2010.
The bar chart represents the spending of the UK and France on consumer goods in 2010. The different groups of objects are: cars, computers, books, perfume and cameras.
The two countries spent a lot of money in cars: about 400,000 pounds France and 450,000 the UK. It could be related to the fact that this type of object is more expensive than the others. At the second place there were computers, with an amount of money similar between the two countries. At the last position we can see the perfume, with an expenditure which is higher for France. This could be connected to the fact that a lot of producer of cologne are French. Another important sector is that of the books. The difference between the UK and France is high like in the case of cameras, where the difference is about 200,000 pounds.
In conclusion, the expenditure of the two countries on consumer goods are similar.
