The illustrations show how chocolate is produced.
The diagram illustrates the process of how chocolate is made. Overall, it entails ten various stages, starting with the formation of ripe red pods on cacao trees and ending with the collection of liquid chocolate from the grinding machine.
Firstly, cacao trees grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia produce ripe red pods which are used as the input material for the chocolate production procedure aforementioned. After pods are harvested from cacao trees, white cocoa beans are extracted and are then fermented ready for the next steps. These beans are then dried under the sun before being put in large packages and loaded onto train or lorry.
After being transported to the factory, beans are then roasted under a high temperature of 350 degrees. The beans are then crushed aiming to removing the outer shells. Finally, the inner part of the beans is mashed before the liquid chocolate is collected.
