You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

-say where you think you left the papers

-explain why they are so important

-tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Marcus,

I was just an hour ago in Swiss Hotel participating in a meeting about improving the environment in our workplace.

After the meeting, I needed to pick up my children from school. Once I arrived home I realized that I have forgotten my folder with all my work papers on the front table of the lobby. The folder is bright blue with green stripes and there is a sticker with my name ‘’Monica Green’’ on it. Should be easy to recognize.

The folder is very important for me as all my work stays in there including meeting times, deadlines, information about costumers and the roster for employees. Also, there are some important clients and their projects about the future plan which disappearing would result in trouble.

I would more than appreciate if you could keep this folder in a safe place and I will come to pick it up tomorrow morning at 8 am if it is fine with you.

Yours sincerely,

Monica Green
