Essay topics:

You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel.

Say where you think you left the papers.

Explain why they are so important

Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter seeking help in locating my documents folder which I’ve accidently left in your hotel’s meeting room.

I’ve visited your hotel on Sep 18, to attend a meeting organised by companies of SEZ Noida. The meeting was in “Vistara” conference hall, which is located on the 2nd floor near fire exit. In the hall, I was sitting next to projector and I’m certain that I had forgot to bring along my folder, which has my documents in it.

The folder is very important for me as it has all the documents required to file a business visa. I’ve an appointment with visa officer on coming Monday and it is impossible to get my company’s authorisation letter in such a short time.

I would request you to touch the base with your staff and search for the folder. Please do check with Lost and Found section in case someone has deposited it there. Once you have located the folder then please keep it under your safe custody and call me on 1234567890. I’ll visit your hotel and collect it.

Looking forward for a positive response.

Yours sincerely,

Ajay
