The charts illustrate some information about the percents in different ageing groups of population in 2000 and also predictions for 2050 in two countries, Yemen and Italy. At first glance it can clearly be seen that 60 plus years had an additive trend in the proportion of Yemen and Italy populations.
To begin, for Yemen 15-59 years who had 46.3% of population in 2000 increased significantly to over half of population (57.3%) in 2050. 60 plus years experienced a slight rise from 3.6% to 5.7% between 2000-2050 years. Only substantial decrease observed for 0-14 years, so that their numbers dropped from half to approximately over a third (37.0%) at the same time.
