The graph below gives information from a 2008 report about consumption energy in the USA since 1980 with projection and with 2030 summarise the information by selecting and reporting main features
The line graph presents information about the amount of energy consumed by 6 types of fuels in the USA from 1980 to 2015 and the anticipated use handle 2030.
Overall, it is clear from the graph that the highest amount of energy was utilised by petrol and oil, whereas the least amount by hydropower. Noticeable point was in the beginning nuclear, solar and hydropower showed similar amount of usage.
The petrol and oil provided far higher energy than the other fuels at 35 quadrillion units in 1980, which increased in the following years and it will reach nearly 45 quadrillion units in 2030. The next one was natural gas at 20 units in 1980, while coal had the figure slightly less than the natural gas at around 15. The call will overcome the position of the natural gas by 2030 at 25 units whereas natural gas will still remain at initial rate.
the fuel namely nuclear solar and hydropower had the similar and negligibleusage at around 4 units in 1980 and they maintained almost similar units for following 10 years till 1990. After 1990, nuclear energy shared five units and it will maintain same figure at 2030. From2010, there was slight fluctuations in the amount of energy used by the solar and hydropower at around four and three units and projected rate is also same.
