Dear Howard,

Its been a long time we haven’t met and I so anxious in meeting you at the Dome Cinemas next week for the latest movie of the batman – “The batman and Gotham”. I am writing this letter to tell you that I may not be able to join you for the movie. I am very sad for not able to enjoy your company to watch this long-awaited flick.

I, recently, have met with an accident at the college library and had a small fracture in my ankle bones and my doctor insisted me to take bedrest till the wound is healed. I know you will be disappointed to cancel this plan, so I have thought of an alternative idea. my cousin, Ross, who met you at Junior High fund-raising event at UCLA college in California. I remember you guys met for 10 minutes and chatted long over the batman movies. He is coming to visit me in the next week, I am sure both of you would like to catch up after a long interval.

Once I am fit, I am hoping to see you soon at your college fest next month.

Yours Sincerely,

Thomas
