The pie charts below give data on the spending and consumption of resources by countries of the world and how the population is distributed.
The given three pie charts depict the percentage amount spending by the world for different items including food and accommodation, consumption of resources and proportion of inhabitants in different continents.
In the world, people spent nearly one-quarter of their income on food and transportation. When food spending accounts for 24% of the total, other expenses take almost half of whole percentage, which accounts for 40%. Besides, transportation, housing, and clothing take around 18%, 12%, and 6% respectively.
While considering the resource consumption in the world, the USA and Europe alone take more than half of the total spending of the world. When all other countries together take 40% of the resources, the USA and Europe together divide about 60% of the resource, even though their population is lesser than Asia.
With regards to the population rate, Asia takes dominance compared to Europe, America, and Africa. Even though 57% of people are living in Asia, USA and Europe together share more than half of the total resources. The remaining half of the population rate divided by Europe and America at 14%, Africa at 10% and other continents all together 5%.
