The graph illustrates the amount of fast food consumed on a weekly basic between 1970 and 1990 in United Kingdom.
It is clear from the graph that while the consumption of hamburger and fish and chips increased, there was a decline in pizza consumption.
Between 1973 and 1980, there was a slightly increase in the amount of hamburger sold, to approximately 100 grams. Fish and chips shared the same pattern, which grown from 100 grams to 150 grams. Meanwhile, the number of pizza consumed decreased by 100 grams to 200 grams.
The following twenty years saw a sharply increase in hamburger consumption, which is up to 500 grams. Fish and chips also had a considerable increase, from 100 grams to 300 grams. By contrast the amount of pizza consumed remained the same.
