The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
The maps illustrate the changes that Grange Park have been undergone since 1920.
The park is separated into two western and eastern parts. There have been some reconfigurations from the year 1920. Also, some new installments have been added to the park. The entrances on the north and south have not changed.
Starting from the eastern part, we can see that one of the rose gardens has been replaced with a cafe. Plus, the pond, which was for water plants, has given place to a playground for children. Furthermore, the seats have been removed, and there is a parking entrance instead. Finally, there is a water feature right where the old glasshouse had been.
Moving on to the western area, the other rose garden in the south-west area of the park has been moved to the center replacing the fountain. Moreover, all seat locations have been changed, so that they are all adjacent to the central rose garden. Also, the stage where musicians would perform has been upgraded to an amphitheater so they could perform better.
