You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter:
describe the situation
explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you that I will hardly be able to study English at your center next week. I have been taking this course since July, but today my manager expressed his dissatisfaction with my performance at work.
My supervisor frequently sees me doing my homework at lunchtime. It seemingly makes him think that my workload is not adequate. This morning he, therefore, decided to increase my workload twice by charging me with an extra responsibility as a business analyst. I have tried to explain him that lunchtime break is my spare time, but he is reluctant to listen to my reasoning.
My education has helped me overcome my fear of speaking a foreign language, but my boss seems to intend to dismiss me, if I stay persistent. I would be grateful, if you allow me to temporary suspend my study till next month. My current project will be over by that time and have more time for English. It would let me continue my training and graduate from your education center without the need to start it again from the beginning.
It would disappoint me, if I have to leave your school with no certificate because of this unpleasant situation with my manager. I look forward to both your reply and suggestions as soon as possible. You can either email me at tolikxxx@mail.ru or phone me on the following number 87001444413.
Yours faithfully,
Tolegen
