A glance at the provided graph and table reveals the fugures for water usage in the world. Information in the graph shows the global water used in each sector from 1900 to 2000, while the table shows data on water comsumpted in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
Overall, the water demand for agriculture, industrial and domestic fields rose significantly during the period shown. Moreover, from the table, the amount of water consumption in Brazil is dwarfed by the one in Congo in 2000.
In 1900, the water usage from agriculture ranked first with nearly 500 km3 following by industrial and domestic sectors with a similar figure (nearly 100 km3). After, the figure for agriculture increased rapidly by over 500 km3, while the data on industrial use and domestic use saw modest growth and had the negligible gap. However, at the end of the period, the figure for industrial use increased more rapidly than the one for domestic use and reached its peak at over 1000 km3 .Meanwhile, the peak reached by agriculture was about three times as big as the industrial field was.
