The pie charts illustrate the proportion of visitors to Australia and Germany from 1960 to 2010.
Overall, in both countries, most of the tourists came from Europe in 1960 whereas in 2010,Germany continued to attract most the European visitors while Australia had Asians being the most popular tourists in the same year.
In Australia, most of the visitors were from Europe and it accounted for just over half of the tourist in 1960 although in 2010 ,Asia brought the largest proportion of tourists which was over two fifths of the total percentage of visitors and this happened to be six times the number of visitors that came in 1960.
In Germany, the greatest proportion of tourists came from Europe for both 1960 and 2010 with 45% and 40% respectively, although there was a 5% drop in the percentage of visitors during the same period. The percentage of visitors from Britain were the least with 6% which was a decline of more than three times from 1960.
