This bar chart gives information about the different weight measurement for citizen who lives in Charlestown between 1955 and 2015. This information divides into 5 different categories from 20 to 69 years old and there are 4 indicators of weight measurements.
In 1995, the younger age start from 20 to 39 years old were not having any crucial weight issue, the biggest issue was overweight. However, above 40 years old had a new problem there was obses. In general, more than 50 percent society per category had ideal weight. As we can see, the differences for underweight from age 20 to 49 decreased and after year 50 increased, this issue was contrary with overweight percent in different groups.
5 decades later, aged people gain obese and few of them still maintained their ideal weight. For younger people, more than 50 percent of them still concern about their body weight, nevertheless, older citizens did not maintain their weight, so they became obese. Only a few of them were overweight and less than 20 percent of each category was underweight.
In summary, people in 2015 less concerned about their weight, therefore, more people gained obese and overweight. In the future, the percentage of overweight and obese will increase and few of them still consider about the weight measure.
