Your son is learning a second language at school, but he needs some extra lessons. Write a letter to a teacher asking for help. In your letter: 1. explain why your son needs help 2. ask the teacher about her teaching experience and methods 3. and suggest a possible schedule for the lessons.
Dear Mr. Flex,
My name is Tanya, a mother of Chris who is learning the French language at your school in the Jumeira branch.
I am writing a letter to convey my gratitude to you for the effort you had made for my children to learn his second language. However, I would appreciate it if you could give him some extra time after the class hours as he won't be able to recognize most of the words when I usually gave him some random alphabets for practice at home. Besides, he is struggling to communicate basic French words with correct pronunciation; therefore, please give him new words in your extra class and ask him to pronunciation in front of you. Moreover, I am interested to know about your teaching experience and approach to opt for toddlers which enable them to learn the second language shortly. The prime reason behind to ask about this question is that I don’t have earlier exposure to teaching the linguistic subjects; therefore, your piece of advice would help me to engage my son to practice at home.
Could you please let me know your available time in your schedule for extra classes. I think Saturday and Sunday might be a good fit as I would be free to drop him via personal vehicle. Would that suit you?
I look forward to hearing from you soon to finalize the start date.
Best Regards,
Tanya
