The two maps below illustrates the entry to the city hospital from the city road in 2007 and in 2010. Overall, there is a massive change done by the years in the structure of the road and some new sectors popped up.
To begin with, in 2007 the City Hospital’s plan was very minimalistic that contained a small public and staff car parking (in the same area) on the south east of the City Hospital. On the other hand, in the year 2010 the top view seemed very modern due to the existence of the roundabouts that are connected to new sections and lead to the entrance of the hospital.
However, the bus station in the year 2007 was on the east side of the hospital whereas in 2010 it moved to the west south which is connected with two roundabouts. The small main parking that was in the first map (2007) has split into two major parking where the staff has its own in the existing space and a new public parking has been established on the east of the City Hospital on the right of the Ring Road.
In conclusion, the City Hospital’s plan has changed to have a three roundabouts to access the entry of the hospital with new sectors shown in the year 2010.
