A friend you made while you were studying abroad has written to ask you for help in finding a job in your country. You have heard about a job in a local company that might be suitable for him/her.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
• Tell your friend about the job and what sort of work it involves
• Say why you the job would be suitable for him/her
• Explain how to apply for the job
Dear Victor,
I hope you have been doing well. It has been a while since we last met. I still remember that we went to visit a water park in Paris and we had a great time over there. It’s a shame that I had to come back, but they all are good memories. And yes, the main reason I am writing this letter to you is that I received your message regarding searching a job in India, but only for an year, as you would be moving back to France by gaining international exposure.
I did some research on my level and one of my Indian friends referred me a data analytical company Harsh Enterprises. It is offering a contract-based employment precisely for 11 months. It would be in north-west part of Delhi. The pay is good enough to hold all your expenses but they would be discussing it personally with the candidate. Timings are flexible too. Basic work would constitute of taking focus group interviews, and using different marketing research tools and techniques to come up with some good results to follow up on.
As you have done your Masters in Marketing, I believe the job would suit your interest. You already have a strong experience with marketing sector as you were regularly engaged with boosting up the sales of former companies through promotional selling techniques. Moreover, it is evident that you are more into data juggling and numbers as you were the only one to always score highest during our MBA. Therefore, you are best-suited for this job in my opinion. Additionally, it is a multi-national company, which can help you to build up your resume comprehensively.
Coming to the application part, although you can apply directly via their official website, you may have to visit India for personal interview as this company believes in in-person discussion, rather than online. Also, the company has recently enlisted the same job opening on Linked-in which I got to know from the same friend whom I mentioned earlier as he works over there. You can choose either one of them but make sure you apply for this job before it gets expired.
I will take care of all your needs during your stay as you would be living in my guest house. Afterwards we may go to see my city and I hope we will have a lot of fun. I am eagerly waiting for your positive response.
Yours lovingly,
Hemant
