Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.
Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
Say why you would like to go on the trip
Suggest what you could do to help during the trip
Ask other questions about the trip
Dear Sir/madam,
My daughter Roxi has told me that you are looking for parents to accompany students during their journey to Sweden for 3 days this summer. I am writing to inform you that I would be more than happy to be with you on this trip as I enjoy being with kids and visiting places with them.
I can also offer helps in different ways since I have lived for about six years and learned their local language and traditions, I could act as an interpreter for students and also educate them about the Swedish culture. Moreover, I have worked with kids who had to live far from their families for a short time and I know some feel anxiety and noxious. Based on my previous experience, I can help them to overcome those feelings and have a good time.
I hope you could find me a suitable person to come with you. If it were the case, could you please share more information with me about the trip such as the date of departure, number of coming students, and the arranged activities?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Sorena Ashkani.
