The pie charts illustrate the results of a survey regarding students’ intentions with their MBA and what employers expect from hiring them.
it is clear that having better job possibilities is the main impetus for students to do an MBA degree. previous knowledge in the job and personality account for most of employers’ expectations from them, whereas qualifications were least important.
Regarding reasons for students to get an mba degree, the majority of students say they do it to have better employment rate. This is followed by better job performance and personal development, with 15% and 12% respectively. Less than one tenth of them want to help others through doing the degree.
Good personality accounts for 25% of the employers’ considerations before hiring them, with the same goes for their knowledge. The other 40% was divided equally for the candidates’ appearance and previous experience in connections with other people. qualifications only account for the rest one tenth of the qualities valued.
