You went on a trip and found that the guide was really helpful. Write a letter to the tour company manager.
In your letter, you should:
• describe the tour
• tell what you liked about the tour guide
• recommend manager ways/methods to appreciate the tour guide
Dear Sir,
My name is Maria Kapadia, and I was part of the group tour to India organized by your travel company last month. I am writing this letter to express my gratitude for the amazing tour experience and helpful tour guide Mr. Bhatt. At first my family and I, were hesitant to book your company’s tour package, but I am happy that we didn’t change our decision. The tour itinerary was designed perfectly and we got to visit the most prominent well known cities of India like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Rajasthan and Chennai. We also visited interiors of Rajasthan where we camped for one night and experienced jungle safari which was one of the wildest experience.
Besides the amazing tour, I would also like to share that the tour guide Mr. Bhatt was one of the most helpful and knowledgeable guide. He was prompt, approachable and ensured that all people in the group were comfortable. My grandmother was unable to walk in the interiors of Rajasthan, so Mr Bhatt proactively arranged for wheelchair for her ease. It was a nice gesture, and my family will always remember it.
In today’s age, hardworking, proactive employees should be retained and rewarded. I am writing to suggest that your company can reward Mr. Bhatt by offering one-time special incentive or award him “Employee of the Month” certificate or trophy. Such gestures from your company’s end will motivate him to give his best performance and walk extra mile if required.
I hope my suggestions will be considered by your company. I look forward hearing from you.
