A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children’s sports team for two years or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.
Write a letter to the company. In your letter
Describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
Summaries the benefits of paying for the concerts
Say how you think the company should spend the money
Dear Sir or Madam,
The impetus behind writing this letter is to appreciate the efforts you are making to bring improvements to the community. To embark with, sponsoring a minor’s sports team will beget a myriad of benefits to the children such as promoting healthy physical activities. As nowadays, children spend less time playing outdoor sports, which affects their health and fitness levels.
What is more, in the time-deprived society, people have less time for refreshing their minds. If there were more concerts, it would provide a great opportunity for people to have a break from the monotonous routine. In this way, they would be able to get some motivation, and relief from stress due to workload.
I would suggest that the company should divide the total amount and sponsor the children’s sports team for one year, and arrange concerts for next year. As both segments of the society that is children, and the elderlies are in dire need of such kind of activities, which are beneficial for their health.
I hope that you will consider my suggestions and should not neglect any of them.
Yours sincerely,
Sara Khan
