the primary goal of education should be to get a job.
Deciding the goal of ones education is not a trivial task. The prompt clearly suggest that the primary goal of education should be to get a job at the end. I somewhat disagree to this suggestion. I think even though job is important in this era getting knowledge should be ones ultimate goal for education for two primary reasons.
someone might argue that education is a key towards success, education makes you smart and basic education education is very important for everyone, However I think knowledge is more important than the education. it is not necessary that one who is educated is the one who has knowledge and vice-versa.
For instance, someone might get a job in the software company because of its education as a computer engineer but afterwords that person requires knowledge to complete daily task as a computer engineer and without that it will become very difficult for that person to carry on with its job.
Another reason is that the job market is volatile. even if you successfully manage to secure a job for yourself, the requirement of that job might change after some amount of time. for example software industry is facing the similar problem. With the new technology emerging software developer ask to shift from the old c++ programming language to new and more powerful python. developers who were doing there enitre work in c++ from couple of decade are now learing new language. that means getting education just to secure a job wont be a good decision.
Finally, knowledge is a passport that will help to go to where ever you want, I think in future companys or employers wont be asking for education anymore. Google nowadays allowing everyone to sit for there interview regardless of there education. because education is not a proper measure for excellence. for example everyone knows bill gate and mark zukerberges were college dropouts. still they manage to build one of the worlds biggest company that will make the world a better place.
