A report for university lectureer show how money was spent on different form of entertainment
The graph below illustrates the entertainment expense of various types from 1995 to 2000 on three main areas.
Overall, it is obviously that the money consumed for entertainment increase remarkably overtime in all regions for all forms.
There was a dramatic growth in the spent fun money in United State from 184 billion dollars to 257 billion dollars in five-year period. The amount of spending in United States was also double the figure for Europe, in either 1995 or 2000. In Asia, the spending was at least among all areas, but still experienced a double increase to 100 billion dollars in 2000.
In term of different forms of entertainment, the publishing moderately occupied the highest expense, following by the television. However, in comparison with the amount of money spent in United States and Asia, which witnessed a significant increase by 50 billion dollars, the quantity in Europe went up slightly by approximately 15 billion dollars. The expenditure of cinema, video and music were less fluctuated, which maintained the amount of about 10, 20 and 35 billion dollars respectively.
