Your landlord wants to increase the rent. Write a letter to him telling him why you think rent should not be increased and what will you do if it's increased.
Dear Mr. Ahmed,
My name is Safaa, and I am one of your renters in a building you own since 2010, it is building number 45 at al Marwah street. I heared about the rent' raise; I am really unpleased with it, and there are several reasons behind that.
I think that the rent should remain the same as it is, as you know that it is an old builbing and not only it needs a constant servicing but also it has elecricity issues. Moreover, almost all the renters in our neighbourhood are paying a fewer rent than we are.
I have to say that if the rent will be raised, I will leave the apartment bythe end of this month. furthermore, I spoke other renters in our bulding and most of them will do the same.
I am looking forward to hearing from you. Should be any quiries, you can contact me on my number 02257895554.
Sincerely yours,
Safaa Hussein
