Educational institutions should actively encourage their students to choose fields of study that will prepare them for lucrative careers.
Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.
When we were children, none of us thought about money when answering the question " Who would you like to become when you grow up?". Then, we were considering high virtues that matters. As we grow up, and become more sensitive to surroundings, we have seen that it is all about money. Our dreams changed. Being in high school, everyone started dreaming about lucrative career. Even though money is good motivation for studying, it is personal abilities that should be considered when pursuing certain educational programmes.
Consider nuns and monks who pray for ordinary people like me and you. Do they care about money? Oftentimes, they become our spiritual guides who help to recover from depression of emotional breakdown. Their "business" is certainly non-lucrative, but for some of us it surely is very beneficial.
Not every student is suitable to do every kind of job. Some of us are good at math and finances, but extremely shy and undecisive and probably they will never make it to become CEOs. Others, on the other hand have all the characteristics of a boss, but have no ability to think critically and logically. Your personal preference is indispensible for your future happiness.
To recapitulate, each of us has something special, that others will surely appreciate. Pondering fields of studies that we are mostly fond of is most probably the best option for us. Considering that no matter what you do, if you like it, you will eventually excell at it and earn money as well as gain others' respect. If everyone cares only about money, how would the world looks like?
