Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regard to an electrical kettle I bought from your store last Tuesday, which was found defective when I used it for the first time.
When the power is plugged and main switch is pressed, the red indicator of the kettle would be on but the water inside would stay cool - the heating part would just not work.
I called the service line of your store immediately and a female representative answered my call. After describing the faults to her, she promised me that she would call back once she reported to the management and a possible solution would be available in one or two days. But I have been waiting for her call for more than a week now.
Please contact me via the phone number provided once you read this letter and arrange a new kettle for replacement as soon as possible. Furthermore, please investigate into this incident to find out possible flaws in your quality management and complaint-handling procedures. This kind of mishaps are really frustrating and I am not going to buy or recommend my friends to buy anything from your store until a reasonable explanation is provided.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Kevin Young
