The provided pie charts illustrate the average percentage of each nutritious kinds in four typical meals obtained in the USA. If it is consumed too much, it will be harmful to people’s health.
From a general perspective, dinner requires the largest amounts of two out of three nutrients, namely sodium and saturated fat, nevertheless the most added sugar was eaten in snacks.
On average, it is noticeable that sodium stands at the first rank in the evening meal, at 43%. Besides, the second-largest consumption belongs to the statistic of the rate of saturated fat at dinner. Conversely, added sugar, which accounted for only 23% at dinner, contributes the highest detail to the percentage of it in snacks, at 42%.
Looking at the pie charts in more detail, we can see that standing at less than a fifth, breakfast and dinner obtain the least amount of sodium. Likewise, the proportions of saturated fat and added sugar are eaten at breakfast share an equal figure, at 16%. Also, the rates of the three types of nutrients seemed quite the same at lunch, which formed 29% sodium, 26% saturated fat, and 19% added sugar.
