Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
• thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• explain why you didn’t write earlier
• invite them to come and stay with you
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows: Dear __________
Thank you so much for your letter and these lovely photos of the Bathinda trip. I am extremely sorry for writing late because I went for a business trip and return today only and I got the letter lying in mail box.
Looking at the photos of the holiday which we spent together bring back lots of the memories and the wonderful hospitality you extended to me. You mother is such a sweetheart, she taught me about different recipes that I can easily make for my breakfast when I told her that, I mostly leave for the office without having any meal in the morning. I had a great holiday at you home and a humble thank you for such a lovely time.
After looking at these photos an idea came to my mind, I know you always wanted to spend time in Canada. Why don’t you plan a trip to Canada next week as holidays are approaching? I will take two weeks off from my job. I would be very happy if you can make it.
Thank you again for the unforgettable memories you gave me. Looks forward to hearing from you now.
Warm Wishes,
Kiran
