The chart reveals data about the export of five different categories and the changes in their proportion in a country between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, it is clear that there was an upward trend among five categories over the period shown. In addition, while petroleum products accounted for the highest figure in both years, textiles witnessed the largest growth in earnings.
In 2015, the exports of petroleum products was the highest (61 billion dollars), followed by engineered goods at $58 billion. In 2016, petroleum products experienced a small change in its proportion with an increase of 3% to nearly 63%. Moreover, income from engineered goods raised up 8.5% to approximately %62 billion.
The data about the exports of the textiles was the lowest in 2015, which was $28 billion. However, there was a significant increase in its percentage by 15.24% to over $30 billion in 2016. In contrast, gems and jewellery witnessed a decline by 5.18% to around $41 billion in the same period. Furthermore, there was nearly no change recorded in the amount of money earned from agricultural products, remained at $31 billion.
