The chart below gives the information on the percentage of british people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 to 2010.

The given bar chart depicts the information on the percentage of british people who spend money during the 20years of period. We can seen that, Donation in 1990 is greater than in 2010, however the patterns of giving money is different before and after age 50.

Overall, more british gave money to charity in1990 than they did in 2010. However, People over 50years old did just the opposite and a fewer younger bitish donated to charity than the adults did both in these years.

To begin with, In the year 1990, people who were between 18-25 age range giving money to charity which was approximatley 17%. For the same age range the percenatge of british people was about 7% in the year 2010. The british people whose age between 26-35 giving to charity was about 31% in the year 1990 and nearly 25% in the year 2010.

Moving further, In 1990, 42% of the 36-50 age group made charitable dontaions, and this figure is the highest on the chart. In 2010, 35% of the same age group spend money in charity. In 1990, the donations declined for the 51-65 age range people which was 35%. While in 2010, The donations rose among the 51-65 age group from nearly 40%. During the year 1990-2010, the percentage of british people giving charity eas declined.
