The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given bar graph depicts the information about how much global water will be used in three different sectors and the table shows the information about water utilization in two countries such as brazil and congo between 1900 to 2000 years. We can see that in agriculture area most of the water can be used over the hundred years of period.
Overall, We can clearly seen that global water needs rose significantly between hundred years of period and water consumption was considerably higher in Brazil than in the Congo.
To begin with, In the graph, we can see that in 1900, there was 0km3 of water can be used in two sectors such as industrial and domestic use which was the lowest. and it will be constant no use of water until 1940 in these two sectors. As the time passed the use water has been increased gradually in both the sectors like industrial and domestic sector. In the year 2000 there was about 50km3 water can be used in domestic use and as the year passed in industrial sector, the use of water can be go up gradually which was around 500km3 in the year 2000. Taking about agriculture sector in the year 1900 the total use of water was approximately 500km3. and in the end of these period in the year 2000, the use of water was highest which was 3000km3.
Moving further, In the table, we can see that water consumption was considerably highr in brazil than in the congo which was 359 m3 of water consumed by per person. In 2000, The population of brazil and congo were 176 million and 5.2 million, respectively. Water consumption per person in bazil, at 359 m3, was much higher than that in the Congo,at only 8m3, and this could be explained by the fact that brazil had 265 times more irrigated land.
