Overall, between being designed and being recycled or thrown away, there are 7 steps involved in a cyclical process that allows the producer to receive feedback from the consumer to subsequently improve the product in future cycles.
Firstly, the process begins with the planning and designing of the product before materials and energy resources are collected by lorry and delivered to factories for the purpose of production. From here, products are packed and distributed by large containers to shops and supermarkets where they are, later, sold on the market.
Once the product has been bought, they are consumed by customers who, then, disposes them after utilizing it thoroughly. Another way is that customers send the product for recycling which reduces the impact on the environment and the recycled material is again used. Notably, a feedback is passed on to the design sector on their strengths and weaknesses for further improvement.
