Overall, classes in lower secondary are generally larger than the class in primary school. The number of students per class in Asian countries is more than the class in Western countries.
South Korea had the Largest students number per class, with 34 students per class. These figures were nearly two times as high as the lowest number group and students in the UK were in the smallest class, at 22 students per class, almost 12 less than South Korea.
Similar numbers of students per class were seen in Mexico, Denmark, and Iceland, at nearly 25, 22 20 respectively. The largest gap between primary class and lower secondary was seen in Mexico, at 10 students per class. Apart from South Korea, the second biggest group of students could be seen in japan which receives 32 students per class, roughly 6 students per class more than the world level.
