You have recently moved to a different house/apartment. Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter:
– Explain why you have moved
– Describe the new house/apartment
– Invite him/her to pay you a visit.
Dear Jot,
How are you? I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this to let you know that I have moved to a new house.
I know you will be curious to know the reason of my shifting. Well, I would like to tell you that last year, out of curiosity I appeared in the government bank clerical exam, and fortunately, I have cleared it. I got a job at the Toronto Union Bank. The accommodation is allotted by the bank and it is 10 minutes ride from the downtown and bank.
It is a two-bedroom set with an open kitchen. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and heater and both have attached bathrooms. There is a big adjoining balcony with a resting chair to enjoy the city view and greenery. It also has one big living room where one sofa set has bet placed, the LCD is hanged on the wall of the room and there is one round dining table in the right corner with 4 chairs placed near the kitchen.
I know you are quite occupied, even though I would like to ask you to visit my apartment once because it has been a long time to see you. If you are free this weekend just let me know we can have a meeting and will spend some quality time together. I will look forward to your reply.
Yours Truly,
Kinu
