When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has
nothing to do with success.” Do you agree or disagree with the
quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your
position.
We always see many people all over the world who are very successful in their profession. In addition, a huge number of books in libraries are about methods of being successful. Successful people and books of success say that hardworking is key point of success. In my opinion, although hardworking is requisite of success, it is not quite possible without chance. I the following I explain my arguments.
Hardworking has to be in a correct direction. There is an Iranian proverb that says that sometimes you try a lot in order to climb a wall and you are doing all your effort. Unfortunately, you don’t know that you selected a wrong wall. In other word, you work hard but you are not lucky to choose the best direction to achieve your goal. Otherwise you waste too much time.
Furthermore, some people are not in good environment, family, or district to be success. For example, imagine some Indians who live in very poor families. They don’t have enough money even for food and cloth. In addition, there is no suitable job to help them in order to improve their life styles. In this situation, hardworking might not be enough for success. Because, you were not so lucky to grow up in a normal circumstance.
In summary, I think hardworking is the key point of success but it is not enough. You have to be lucky to grow up in good circumstance. Moreover, you should have a good chance to choose the suitable way in order to be success.
