The reading passage claims that there are many skeptics doubt on the structure have been found inside fossilized trees that were created by bees. However, the professor in the lecture casts doubt on the points made in the reading.

First, considering the article no fossil remains of actual bees have ever been found that date to 200 million years ago. In contrast, the professor in the lecture contradicts the idea and made the points that some insects fossilized by trees' resin, and this kind of tree fossilize are very rare.

Second, the reading passage claims that bees existed 200 million years ago is the absence of flowering plants in that period. Admittedly, the professor validates the idea and adds that maybe bees in 200 million years ago feed non-flowering plants, and after first appeared flower plants they feed blossom plants.

Third, the writer in the reading puts forward the idea that while the fossilized structures found in Arizona, they lack some of the finer details of bees' nests. In the same way, the speaker justified the information presented in the article and make the points that during different analyzes scientists find that there is some chemical evidence that materials in the structure are similar to the material in modern bees nests.

To sum up, both the writer and speaker hold conflicting views about structures made by bees in 200 million years ago.
