The graph show British Emigration to selected destinations between 2004 and 2007.
The given bar chart highlights the number of ongoing British emigrants in five different countries for the four year period from 2004 to 2007.
The primary trend notable in the provided figures is the popularity of Australia and Spain over New Zealand, the United States of America and France as a final permanent location. In addition to it, the number of British citizens going to France fluctuated in the given time interval.
Australia hosted the major part of people from the United Kingdom in all years with approximately 40 thousand emigrants in 2004, 2005, and 2007 and more than 50 thousand in 2006. The next frequent destination for people from England was Spain with around 30 thousand individuals hosted every year; however, the constand decrease is observed. The third country in the list is New Zealand with about 20 thousand of emigrants arrived from the UK yearly. Similarly to Spain statistics, the figures show the continuous drop.
The least popular states were the USA and France with 20 thousand of British people on average. In contrast to the previously described countries, the number of emigrants fluctuated in the US and France, reaching the peak of 25 thousand in 2006 in the US and around 33 thousand in France in 2005.
