The plans below show the layout of a university sports Centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
The assinged two pictures illustrate the changes which will take place in the university sports center, first plan shows present sports area and second depicts future plan.
Overall, what stands out from the maps is that the area of sports center will be increased with the introduction of new facilities such as leisure pool, sport hall, dance studios, changing rooms ect.
Firstly, start with the most striking feature of the pictures, there is two outdoor courts either side of sports center; it will be removed in order to make a large leisure pool to the west of sports center. Secondly, on the place of right side outdoor court, one sports hall near to the seating and two dance studios will be constructed to the east of sports center. Moreover, the size of gym will be enlarged to the east direction.
Furthermore, it can be seen that two changing rooms will be added, one to the south-west and another to the south-east. Besides, there will be one sports shop and a cafe opened to the left and right side of entrance, respectively. Interestingly, there will be no changes in a pool, seating area and changing room which are located to the middle area of the sports center.
