The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008.

A quick glance at two charts compares the jobs of UK graduate and postgraduate, excluding full-time work, in 2008. The number of graduate students had careers outweighed that of postgraduate students.
Regarding graduate students, almost 30.000 of them had intentions in further study, followed by 18.000 of then went for part-time work. The number of students who did voluntary work was 3.500 whereas 16.235 of them were unemployed.
On the contrary, the number of postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work was fewer than that of graduate ones. The number of postgraduate students studied further was 10 times lower than the statistics of graduate students. This was the same with the number of students who went for voluntary work and unemployment, 345 and 1.625 students respectively. 2.535 students were employed for part-time work.
In conclusion, a vast majority of both graduate and postgraduate students studied further while a minority of them went for voluntary work. The number of unemployed students was significant back then.
