The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourists facilities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisions where relevant.
The graphs illustrate how an island was changed after building a number of construction for tourists.
Overall, it is noticeable that in the mainland there were many accommodations connected by both footpath and vehicle tracks. Furthermore, although man-made facilities were built, they did not affect the nature resources.
As can be seen obviously, the first map shows nothing except an empty land with several trees growing but the second one illustrates an addition of construction of some tourist facilities. There were a reception in the center of the area, a big restaurant on the north of the island and a quantity of residential areas linked by the walking paths.
On the east side of the island, it used to have a beach next to the sea and now became a swimming place for the visitors to relax. Thus, people could take a short walk on the paths from where they lived to this areas without using any transportations. On the other hands, there was a pier being set up on the south of the reception where boats and ships were landed. Travelers may need to use some vehicles to go to the main reception since it was the only road provided from the pier to the facilities.
