Robuscus are evolved from

Essay topics:

Robuscus are evolved from

Reading gives evidence that robuscus are not hunting animals and they are just scavengers. But the lecturer casts doubt on this and gives many examples to prove.

First of all, reading states that the stomach of robustus contains remains of psittacosaurus dinosaurs
, which suggests that they are hunters. But lecturer argues stating that robusts are bigger than baby citizker, so they can be easily eaten by them, which gives evidence that they are not just scavengers but hunters too. Moreover, the dianuser in the stomach of ribusts are twice less the mass of robustus.

Secondly, reading suggests that robustus legs are so short that they cannot run fast to be a good hunter. But Lecturer totally disagrees and he says that by giving an example of another animal, Tezanian Devil. He says this animal too has short legs but still can run even faster at speed of 15km and are successful predators too. So ancient mammals like Robustus could also be a good hunter.

Furthermore, passage tells that the animal eaten by robustus has no teeth indentation in their bones and if they are hunted then teeth marking could be seen in them. However, the lecturer contradicts the statement and he says that the robustus has powerful jaws and even though they have back teeth, they were never used by them to chew. Instead, they swallowed the whole prey or as a mass.So bones would never show any markings on them.
