Overall, while salt water accounts for nearly the whole amount of water in the world, agriculture experiences the highest water use in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
As can be seen from the pie chart, slat water stands at precisely 97% in comparison with only 3% fresh water. Meanwhile, the figure for fresh water in ice and glaciers is the highest, at about 79%, which is approximately four times as much as that for ground water. Surface water accounts for only 1 percent in the total fresh water in the world.
We can see from the bar chart is that about 80% water is used for agriculture in Egypt while this figure for Saudi Arabia is nearly 75% as opposed to only 10% in Canada. Besides, industry consumes the largest amount of water in Canada, at about 80%, which is nearly eight times as much as in other two countries. Domestic water use accounts for about 15% in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and approximately 10% in Canada.
