The diagram below shows the possible connection between the burning of fuels like oil and coal and the death of fish and trees.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given illustration demonstrates the consequences of burning fossil fuels.
Overall, it is indicated in the graph that there are two sources of fuels that go through different stages and eventually result in the death of fish and trees. Furthermore, while fish is killed in one way, trees are vandalized in two ways.
Petrol contains oil that is consumed by cars, along with factories burning coal and oil for several purposes, discharge emissions out in the air. The emissions include sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide which are harmful. A part of them, afterward, is absorbed by the clouds. Once the chemical reactions in the clouds happen, acid rain will fall. The contaminated water drops into the lake and leads to the death of fish. The soil also absorbs the water and then becomes acidified. When the osmosis of the tree happens, the roots are poisoned.
Another part of the two mentioned gases stays in the atmosphere and then becomes air-borne gases. The leaves of trees will unconsciously use the gases for metabolism and finally become seriously damaged.
